Southwest Family Physical Therapy is committed to helping our patients regain their mobility and function. Our physical therapist is highly skilled and has years of experience helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and other conditions that limit their movement. We understand that your time is precious, so we’ll work around your schedule to make sure you can get the care you need when it’s convenient for you.
And we’ll work with your insurance provider to make sure your visits are affordable. Services include post-op rehab, sports medicine, and every type of muscle and joint rehabilitation. Whether you’re an elite athlete or a weekend warrior, we can help you get back to doing the things you love.

Dr. Evan Short, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Short is a physical therapist who loves helping patients return to the activities they love. He has undergraduate and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy from Arizona State University and Midwestern University, respectively. He enjoys working closely with his patients, taking the time to understand their unique situation so that he can help them achieve the best possible outcome. Dr. Short was born and raised in Arizona and loves spending time outdoors mountain biking and coaching youth soccer.
Sean Taylor PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
I grew up in Montana and have always been very active in sports and played basketball up until college when I tore my ACL. This began my interest in sports medicine and physical therapy. I attended Montana State University in Bozeman where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. I then moved to Great Falls, MT where I completed the PTA program. I finished up my last clinical rotation in Arizona and have been here ever since.
Outside of physical therapy, I enjoy watching and attending sporting events, going to concerts, and playing golf when I get the chance. I have loved getting to explore Arizona over the past few years with my daughter and am always looking for something new to do over the weekends.
