A study conducted between 2011 and 2013 involving 104 patients with non-specific chronic low back pain showed significant improvements in pain and functional status after undergoing physical therapy. The patients were assessed using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), and Istanbul Low Back Pain Disability Index (ILBP) before treatment and at two weeks, three months, and one year after treatment. The results showed significant improvements in both groups, with the physical therapy group showing statistically significant differences in the VAS, ODI, and ILBP scores at three months and one year after treatment compared to the control group.
